Session 8: Mini e-Learning activity Designing and implementing a mini e-learning activity using one (or more) Web 2.0 technologies, social media, e-learning platform, or mobile apps, to demonstrate their educational affordances. The mini e-learning activity will be experienced by other class members during the session. Chosen App: Nearpod is an application that allows you to create an interactive classroom. You can upload powerpoints and include various activities in between slides. You can include a poll, quiz, draw it, fill in the blanks, memory test and collaborate. In addition to activities, you can also include web content. When presenting the Nearpod presentation to the class, you can either make it student paced or start a live session. In student paced, students are able to manoeuvre around the Nearpod presentation themselves. While in live session, they cannot do anything!
